When will Hurricane Maria hit?

The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane watch for all of Florida and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The storm will hit in the early hours of Saturday, Oct. 6.
The National Weather Forecast Center says the storm will be strongest on the west coast and west-central Florida.
A severe storm is defined as a storm with winds exceeding 125 mph and a maximum sustained wind of 155 mph.
